WEST CHESTER–The WC East Vikings hosted the Harriton HS Rams in a non league Boy’s Lacrosse match-up Monday night. The Vikings were the clear favorite in this match-up starting the season off at 2-0, whereas the rams started at 0-2.
Harriton definitely showed up, playing solid offense, and stifled the Vikings on every defensive possession. The WC East squad kept their composure for the duration of the game however, never letting the game slip through their grasp.
The Vikings stayed perfect in three starts, overcoming a fourth quarter deficit to register the victory. Joe Guarnere finished with four goals, Alex Hirsch had two goals and two assists and Matt Erfle was strong at the defensive end for WC East.
